The Artist Behind Your Wedding Morning

If you’re here reading this, I just want you to know how genuinely glad I am that you are. In a world full of fast scrolling and quick decisions, taking a moment to slow down and get to know the person behind your wedding morning means more than you probably realize. So welcome. I’m Rachel and I'm really happy you’re here.

This year marks my 10th wedding season, something that still feels a little surreal to say out loud. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a decade-long career serving over 300 brides and being invited into one of the most meaningful mornings of their lives. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with an incredibly wide range of women, from NFL and MLB wives to destination brides exchanging vows in places I once only dreamed of seeing. Scotland holds a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite, but I’ve also traveled coast to coast, including a trip to California to do red carpet makeup for the Emmys this past September. None of it feels ordinary to me, and I never want it to.

My approach to bridal makeup is elevated, romantic, and polished. I believe in giving my brides their best face forward, not a version of themselves they don’t recognize. My goal is calm confidence, glowing skin, and a look that feels intentional both in real life and in photos. More than anything, I care about how you feel in the chair. Trust, connection, and attention to detail are at the heart of every experience I create.

Outside of weddings, my life revolves around my two sons, who keep me grounded and laughing in equal measure. When I’m not glamming or spending time with them, I’m usually browsing airfare for a future trip, halfway through a book, grabbing margaritas with friends, or still somehow working on something to level up my business. And once you sit in my chair, you’ll probably learn a few random things about me too:

• I visit 7Brew far too often and always order the banana bread mocha

A League of Their Own is my favorite movie and still makes me cry every time

• I run a local book club I adore

• Traveling and experiencing new places is my favorite hobby

• Butter-flavored pretzels and pizza Goldfish are my go-to snack

• I once literally dodged death running through L’Étoile in Paris with two of my best friends

• I’m deeply passionate and an Enneagram 2 to my core

At the heart of all of this is my love for my brides. I care deeply about the women who trust me with their wedding morning, their nerves, their excitement, and their confidence. My hope is that from the moment we connect, you feel seen, cared for, and completely at ease, knowing you’re in experienced, thoughtful hands on one of the most meaningful days of your life.
